Not the best seasonn for the team, we tried our best and the begining was good, but later lost some points and end up in the middle

Croatian Cup - Quater Final

Lost in first round against Croatia Zagreb, 1:1 and 1:2

European Cup Winners Cup - 1 Round

Lokomotiv Moscow was too strong but we put a lot of fight in this one. 1:3 in the first game and 4:3 in the second leg.

We are doing very good troughout the season. Last game of the season we played with Osijek. They were one point ahead of us, so it was a decider. If we had all the key players... but those god damn indjuries and all... in all we lose 0:1 and Osijek is the champion.

Croatian Cup - Runner Up

We get to the Final after beating Segesta Sisak and Sibenik. In the final we met Hajduk Split. First game ends 0:0 in the second leg we lose 0:1 and Cup goes to Hajduk.

Terrible season, we get mostly draws in the league so no wonder we can't climb higher.

Croatian Cup - Semi Final

Osijek beats us in the semi final. After two draws they win on aggregate. In first round we beat Hajduk Split.

UEFA CUP - Quater Final

In first round we beat GAK Gazer. In the first home game we lose 0:3 but at the and we managed to get away with the draw. In second leg we beat them 3:0 away and go to the next round. Then we take on Sporting Lizbon. First game end with our win 4:2, so we have to make everythink we can to keep the good score, we lose 1:2 but that is enough. In quater final we drawn Vitesse and I really hope we will go to the semi final. First game is good and we win away 3:2 but in the revange they win 4:1 and we're out.

Good season with a poor finish. A key player got indjured and could not find any replacement for him. So instead of fighting for the championship we finished out of top 3.

SEASON 2000/2001 HAJDUK SPLIT CM 00/01

Croatian Premier Divsion - WINNER
Great season of glory and easily taken title for Hajduk. No team was serious competition for us right from the begining.

Croatian Cup - RUNNER-UP
We easy beat NK Zagreb in 1st round 4:0, then demolish Pomorac 7:0. In Quater Final we win with Orijent 5:2 after two legs. The same in semi final with Cakovec but in final away goals make the differance as we win  first game with Dinamo 4:3 just to lose the second one 0:1.

Croatian Super Cup - RUNNER-UP
Again it was Dinamo who won 0:2.

Champions League - 3rd qualify round
In 2nd round we win with ukrainnian Kryvbass (3:2 on agg.). In 3rd round we lose with Tirol Innsbruck 0:3 in first game and even though we try hard we manage to chase only two goals in the revange.

UEFA Cup - 1st round
Portuguese Boavista is too strong for us. We lose first game 0:3 and 2:1 win in the second leg is not enough.
