Championship Manager 00/01 - Mishi Blakaneshi (Japan)

Mishi Blakaneshi is a manager from Japan. He was born in Tokio on 3 march 1964. He's from a sport family. His mother was a volleyball player and his father trained martial arts. Blakaneshi was a soccer star in collage league but soon after graduation he gained a heavy knee indury in a car accident and never become a professional player. He started to work as a trainer when he was 25. Trained children in a Tokyo Football Academy for a few years and later worked as a coach assistant in Tokyo Gus. In 2001 he took the job as a temporary manager of J-League team Jef United. After he a year of working with Jef United he resigned and signed contract with a lower division team Yokohama FC...

Mikos Blakosas (SWOS 96/97, FIFA 2000, Championship Manager 00/01)


Mikos Blakosas is Greece born manager. He used to be a football player between 1978-1997. He played as a defencive midfield mainly for his hometown club Kalamata F.C. For a short period he also played for Kastoria F.C. and Panetolikos F.C. He returned to Kalamata squad in 1993. In 1996 he become playing manager of the team reaching Greece Cup Final in his debut season. One year later due several indjuries he decided to end his player carrier and focus on managing team. After two seasons coaching Kalamata, he moved to Ionikos were he worked for a year. After that he managed Trikala placing 3rd in the Premier Division table and putting some fame on his name in the country. In 2000/01 season he started working with Panathinaikos Athens. In the first season he won the Greek Cup, placed 2nd in the league table and reached the Semi-Finals of UEFA CUP.

Mikel Blakssen (SWOS 96/97, CM 00/01)

Mikel Blakssen was born in Hurup, Denmark. He started to play football when he was 6 years old in his local club Hurup IF. When he was 13 his family moved to Thisted and Mikel join the local team. He was a very promising junior striker and even played in the Denmark U-15 nad U-17 teams in the seventies. He signed contract with Thisted FC at the age of 18 and played there for 3 seasons. In 1982 he moved to Skive IK were he played for five years, being the top striker of the team most of the time. At the age of 26 he was bought by Viborg were he played till 1996. After that he joined Silkeborg and become the playing manager at the age of 35. After a dissapointing season Blakssen lost his job at Silkeborg but got proposition from Torpedo Moscow. He stayed there for three seasons as player-manager but played only in 15 games during this time. In 1999 he decided to end his carrier as a player and focus on managing. In three years he managed to transform Torpedo from league outsiders to one of the top teams in Russia. He won Russian Cup and placed 3rd in the league table. In summer 2000 he was hired by Brondby Copenhagen.
