Michael Blacos

Michael Blacos (Brazil) - Former profesional player. Begin his carrier in Gremio, but since he could not find a place in the first team for two years he decided to go to Europe. Played in Greece for Larissa from where he was transfered to Portugal Boavista. He played in Boavista for three years. After that he played in French Saint-Entienne, Guingamp and Lorient. Ended his carrier in Portugal second league. After retirement he went back to Brazil and become second coach of Sport Recife. After two years first coach left the club and Blacos took his place...

He worked for Sport Recife for only one season and was fired due to bad results. He decided to go back to Europe and started working for Victoria Guimaraes. After compleating his two year contract (10th and 4th place in Portugal League) he took the job in Sporting Braga, what soon turned out to be a bad decision. After bad season in Braga he was dimissed and returned to Brazil where he started to work for Corinthians. In this two years period he twice won the Brazil State Championship, also become Brazil National Champion and got the 3rd place in the Club World Cup.
