Fifa 2001 Spanish Primera Division Qualifications

With 4 leagues left, some big names start to show up. You don't need a lot of time to find them in Primera Division. We got Barcelona and Real Madrid the famous arch rivals, who will it be this time? Well, Barca looked good right from the begining, but Real seemed to struggle. Meanwhile there were other teams that also wanted that place in the finals. I'm talking Atletic Bilbao, Real Zaragoza, Sociedad and Espanyol. Real won in the first game but in the quater finals Urzaiz scored them two goals and it was Bilbao who put the famous firm out of the competition. So it was Barcelona vs. rest of the league since then. Catalonians also struggled against Sociedad, but when it came to the final four they shown real power putting seven goals in the rivals net. It was a derby game against Espanyol so you can double the pain it took to carry that kind a score difference. In the final Barcelona had an easy win with Real Zaragoza and you can't call it a suprise, that this team will represent Spain in the finals.
