Fifa 2001 Brazil Qualifications

It's easy to find some great teams and big names in brazilian league, so fans were on their feet when the battle for a place in final tournament started here. Brazilian style always focused on attacking and scoring goals, this time it was no different so the goals kept coming. Fluminense won in the qualifications against Internacional but in the next game they were victims of Corinthians shootout, 7:0 and it looked like we have a favourites. But in this crazy goalfest nothing was sure. Botafago and Santos also looked sharp thanks to their super strikers Aranda and Almeida.
