SEASON 98/99 - SWOS 96/97 LEGIA WARSAW

SEASON 99/00 -

SEASON 00/01 -  CHAMPIONSHIP MANAGER 00/01 ARSENAL LONDON

After great seasons spent in Poland and a short period in Doncaster, Michael Black was appointed as a new of Arsenal London. The team has strong squad but as always there are at least five sure candidates for the title when it comes to Premiership.

English Premiership - WINNER
I did not get a good start in the league. First game against Coventry was only a away draw and in the second one we lost on Anfield 2:3. Team got their act together, grabing 7 wins and 1 draw in the next eight games.
Southampton 2:4 Arsenal (Henry 3, Adams)
Arsenal 2:1 Chelsea (Vieira, Parlour)
Leeds 3:4 Arsenal (Henry, Stepanovs 2, Ljungberg)
Arsenal 2:1 West Ham (Henry 2)
Manchester City 3:5 Arsenal (Henry 3, Bergkamp, Wiltord)
Arsenal 4:2 Newcastle (Henry, Cole, Parlour, Ljungberg)
Arsenal 3:1 Charlton (Henry 2, Stepanovs)
Middlesbrough 1:3 Arsenal (Henry 2, Ljungberg)
Arsenal 4:2 Derby (Henry 3, Parlour)

The season was not easy and I understand why Premiership is such a tough league. So many hard and close games, so many good teams. After securing a good place, we lost two games in a row and fall down a bit. Then we won against Bradford, draw with Sunderland and lost with Tottenham. Then came the game with Manchester United. After very good game we won 3:2 and grabed that important 3 points. I fought that team is geting up again but unfortunetly next 5 games brought only 3 points. On that point of season I was sure that we are not going to be the champions. Then we won agains Manchester City, West Ham and Leeds but lost with Newcastle and thing were still not looking bright. We won with Charlton and Leicester but again lost with Ipswich. Eight games to the end of the season and only straight wins could give the team first place.
Arsenal 3:0 Middlesbrough (Henry 2, Balakov)
Derby 1:2 Arsenal (Ljungberg, Henry)
Arsenal 4:0 Everton (Henry 2, Ljungberg, Bergkamp)
Bradford 3:3 Arsenal (Henry 2, Ljungberg)
Arsenal 3:1 Sunderland (Henry 2, De Bilde)
Manchester United 3:4 Arsenal (Wiltord, Ljungberg 2, Bergkamp)
Arsenal 4:0 Tottenham (Pires 3, Henry)
Aston Villa 1:2 Arsenal (Ehiogu OG, Henry)

IT HAPPEND!!! SEVEN PIONTS AHEAD OF CHELSEA WE WON THE PREMIERSHIP!!! Arsenal did won almost every of last eight games and Liverpool wich was the stronges opponent in the race for title lowered their form.

LEAGUE CUP - WINNER
I did really pay that much attention to this trophy but since we secure the place in the final things start to get seriously. On the other hand on the time we play League Cup final I thought that we wont win the league so I want win this trophy to wipe my tears a bit...

3rd ROUND
Arsenal 2:1 Leicester (Henry 4, Vieira 87 - Crosswell 39)

4th ROUND
Tottenham 1:7 Arsenal (Rebrov 75 - Parlour 3, Henry 17, 44, Vieira 48, Stepanovs 59, Grimandi 79, Lauren 84)

Another year Arsenal rise the LEAGUE CUP!!! We won with Crewe 3:1, Tottenham 2:0, Watford 1:0, Manchester United 2:1, 4:2 and in the big final we beat Leeds after an thriller! 5:5 After the extra time!
